Naomi, age four in this photo, is a little girl with a charming smile, a quick wit, bouncy blond curls and a real zest for life. However, the playground was a place where Naomi, using a wheelchair, could not participate in the fun; she was left on the sidelines.

But after a Boundless Playground opened at her preschool/early intervention center, Naomi was thrilled to give a tour to visitors. "I have to show you all the things I can do on my playground!" she exclaimed, zooming off in her wheelchair. She played in the water at the play table and talked in the talk tube. She used the transfer deck to crawl in the tunnel and go down the slide. She was everywhere! Six months earlier, Naomi had been sitting on the sidelines at the playground, but now she could be in the center of things, even heading up a game of follow-the-leader.
