Our mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Adaptive Swimming Lessons is a program that falls under the YMCA umbrella. Adaptive Swimming Lessons will allow many children to recieve therapy in the water along with mobility never felt before and many new interactions with others. Instructors cater lesson plans and activities according to the needs and attributes of each participant.

The YMCA strives to turn no one away due to the inability to pay. The Conroe Family YMCA has two programs that specialize in serving children with special needs. One of those programs is an adative equine therapy and the other is adaptive swimming lessons.

The YMCA's mission is, 'to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.' Traditional outreach programs include Family Support Services through Child Care, as well as After School Care; and Youth Development Programs such as Youth Sports and Teen Leadership Activities. The YMCA's financial assistance policies ensure that no one is turned away for reasons of inability to pay.
