YMCA Camp Campbell Gard

As part of the Great Miami Valley YMCA Association, Camp Campbell Gard (CCG) is dedicated to the YMCA's mission of putting Christian principles into practice to build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. CCG was established in 1926 when Mr. Homer Gard brought a group of youth to camp as a memorial for his son. Mr. Gard's motto was 'Character through Camping,' a motto that is still in practice today. In order to build character, CCG teaches and demonstrates the YMCA's core values of faith, caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. In fact, if a camper does not leave camp with a better understanding of the core values, their camp fee will be refunded. CCG offers overnight camp, special needs camps, horse camps, and teen adventure, trip programs and leadership programs. CCG serves all children ages 7-17, with special needs programs for ages 7-21. Boys and girls from all races, religions, backgrounds and income levels participate in CCG's programs.
