Mitchell's Place was established in 2005 in response to a community need for services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). It is our mission to provide comprehensive services to individuals affected by autism in a caring, supportive, family oriented atmosphere. It is our goal to optimize the potential of these individuals through a collaborative approach, utilizing the most current and proven treatment strategies. Educational Programs include: Early Learning Program -inclusive program for children with and without autism, ages 2 to 6 years; 'Teach Me' program - one on one intensive ABA-based program for children with more intense needs (with autism), ages 2 to 6 years; and After-School Social and Academic Enrichment Program and Summer Camp - for school-age children, ages 6 to 18 years. In addition, the Multidisciplinary Resource Center provides diagnostic evaluations, speech therapy, occupational therapy, psychology and psychiatry for children and adults with autism or related disabilities.
