Kartwheels, a non-profit organization, was established in January 2001. Its mission is to develop an empowering and safe learning environment for physically, emotionally, and socially challenged children and adolescents through swimming, playing sports and other athletic and social activities. It will draw from all cultures, backgrounds and abilities.
