Fusionworks Inc

The mission of Fusionworks Dance Company is to provide access to and an understanding of contemporary dance through an educational framework of concerts, public performances and educational programming. For this particular program, we are seeking funds to provide children with disabilities tickets to our MOVE! performance, an inclusive field trip that consists of a professional performance with a behind-the-scenes peek. There is also an in-depth questions and answers session with key artists and staff, which results in an open dialogue about the possibilities available to students through careers and avocations in the arts. We believe that modern dance has the power to thrill and inspire everyone, and with your help we can reach new audiences who might not otherwise know the joy modern dance can bring to their lives.

Founded in 1987 by Artistic Director, Deb Meunier, Fusionworks Dance Company provides access to and an understanding of contemporary dance through the presentation of high quality professional dance with an emphasis on direct audience experience. This is accomplished in an educational framework of concerts, public performances and school-based programming intended to introduce audiences to both the beauty that inspires and the processes behind the dances performed.
