Extraordinary Ventures Inc

Extraordinary Ventures, Inc. was founded in March 2007 by several groups: teens with developmental disabilities, parents, community activists and educators. Our mission is to provide the highest quality services to community members of the Research Triangle of NC in the area of social, recreation and vocational programs in inclusive settings. We seek to accomplish this by generating income by offering an affordable conference center to the general public in an attractive facility. This not only generates income but provides jobs and vocational training to teens with developmental disabilities. Within the same space we provide an outstanding recreation center for teens with and without disabilities. We currently have social events (e.g. Friday Night Live, mid day social groups and cooking classes) that have served over 250 participants in the last 3 months.
