Dress for Success is a program aimed towards teaching students how to develop good health and hygiene habits. Dress for Success was developed and implemented with the main goals of providing resources and education to low-income students who lack the necessary tools to lead a successful and positive life. It began in 2001 with a core group of special education students. However, as the free and reduced lunch rate climbs to over 30% school wide, Dress for Success has the possibility of reaching many students other than just special education students.
It is our belief that cleanliness and good health equal higher self-esteem. We teach our students that this in turn leads to more productive and successful high school and job experiences.
