The agency was founded in 1954; the mission is to empower children, teens and adults with disabilities, one person at a time. Programs/services: 1)Whole Child Project/Family Support Services for children with special needs and their families; 2) Selby Preschool - Early Intervention, Early Literacy, Pediatric Therapy, Montessori Pre-K School Readiness, After School Care for children with disabilities, birth-five, in an environment with typically developing children; 3) single family community living arrangements for adults with disabilities; 4) school-to-career programming for teens with disabilities; 5) job placement/career development and computer training for teens and adults with disabilities; 6) Occupational Training offering hands-on work experiences and employment preparation for teens and adults with disabilities; 7) Transportation Services; 8) Health Enhancements; 9) theatre training and arts immersion; 10) Disability Awareness seminars.
