Brushy Creek Elementary

At Brushy Creek Elementary, every member of our school community collaborates to ensure students reach and maintain a high level of academic achievement and demonstrate responsible citizenship. Students show measurable progress yearly to meet or exceed state, district and campus expectations. We commit to continuous improvement by providing a comprehensive system of support and interventions resulting in growth for all students.
Currently our school enrolls over 824 students in PreK-5th grade, with 11+ exceptional needs students in grades K-5 with disabilities such as autism, Downs syndrome, communication disorders, and visual impairments (note that last year we had 20+ exceptional needs children and that enrollment numbers vary). Our campus S.H.I.N.E (Students, Helping, Inspiring, Nurturing, and Encouraging their peers) program provides academic inclusion of these students along side general student peers on grade level Texas Essential Skills and Knowledge (TEKS) curriculum.

The mission of Brushy Creek Elementary (BCE) is to provide exemplary education, guidance, and encouragement to empower all students to reach their individual potential and become contributing members of a diverse community.
