Bay Cove Human Services, Inc., is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1973 that specializes in delivering residential, day, outpatient and educational services to people of all ages who are affected by a broad array of disabilities. The mission of Bay Cove Human Services is: 'Improving the quality of the lives of children, adults, and their families who face the life-long challenges of mental illness, drug and alcohol dependence, and developmental disabilities. We will accomplish this mission by providing effective and compassionate services and through advocacy and leadership.' Bay Cove serves approximately 6,100 people each year through over 85 unique, community-based programs are located throughout Greater Boston and specializes in providing support to people with the most severe, and often multiple, disabilities. Many of the children in Bay Cove programs come from families burdened with poverty, mental illness, social isolation, and drug and alcohol addiction.
Each year, Bay Cove Human Services provides residential, day, outpatient, and educational services to some 12,000 people of all ages. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for children, adults, and their families as they face the life-long challenges of mental illness, drug and alcohol dependence, and/or developmental disabilities. Founded in 1974, Bay Cove now offers a wide range of services to people with the most severe, or even multiple, disabilities in and around Boston, MA.
