Brandeis University's Heller School for Social Policy and Management is ranked by U.S. News and World Report as one of the nation's top three policy and human services schools. The Heller School has three premiere research and policy institutes:
- The Schneider Institute for Health Policy,
- The Institute on Assets and Social Policy, and
- The Institute on Child, Youth and Family Policy.
Each of the institutes has affiliated centers that conduct research and policy work in areas such as hunger and poverty, behavioral health, developmental disabilities (both mental and physical), health care and child development.
Through its affiliation with the Institute on Assets and Social Policy, CVS/pharmacy and the CVS Caremark Charitable Trust are able to ground their initiative, CVS Caremark All Kids Can, in the knowledge and experience of Heller School scholars and national practitioners in the field.
